The battery of my old Samsing S9 died and despite the phone has some years, it’s still useful, so I decided to fix it.

I bought a new battery in Amazon for 18 €, which cames with some tools to help with the replacement.

The most important thing to know is that the phone cover comes glued. So in order to remove the glue you need a machine that heats the phone and the glue.

If you are not sure, go to a store, where they can do the process quickly and cheap, always in front of you, don’t leave your phone without direct visual supervision.

In my case the battery became inflated and it opened the lid by pushing from the inside, so with the help of the tools that came with the battery it was really easy to remove the cover.

It is very dangerous when a battery degrades and gets inflated, as it can produce a fire.
